Rafa has long been known as a "Tournament Manager" but I doubt he'd put up with the bullshit media and the FA for very long

Nah, Englands media has completely ruined any chance of the team being successful for the forseeable future.

Win or lose, the media always have some way of putting extra pressure on them. Doubt Rafa would touch that job with a ****ty stick.

Rafa would make a good England manager, but its not going to happen. The xenophobic British media has destoryed his rep, his end at Liverpool and his time with Inter has given the press a chance to rubbish his achievements.

Anyway its a moot point, we all know that 'arry is the next England manager. So get used to Lampard, Defoe, Crouch, J.Cole and the rest of 'arry's lads being picked for every England squad while the best youngsters from the northern clubs get over looked.
And when it all goes Tits up and England dont qualify for ****e, the press will be claiming that no English manager is good enough and calling for a foreigner with a proven track record. Its the same story over and over again

I don't see why he would make a good England manager if I'm honest. He likes a turnover of about 6 people in, 6 people out every summer, he wouldn't get that chance in international football.

Be interesting to see how the media react when the manager (Redknapp) they choose for the England job turns out worse than Capello. I predict they will find some way of making it all the Italians fault.

i think 'appy 'arry will qualify for the WC simply as its next to impossible (believe it or not mr mcclaren) not to qualify given the rank bad team england come up against in qualification. we are seeded no 1 as we do qualify most of the time, we get to play dross.

'arry can set out some sort of attacking team and hope we can keep them out the other end... but i'd not be at all shcoked his team would draw 3 in the group at the wc and go out then.
