Klopp complaining that the Kop was not sufficiently vocal last night. Was he right? The players were missing so many chances it looked like some sort of comic show.

Mane was the worst culprit. In the cl he apparently scores 11% of his big chances whereas Mbappe and Lewandowski score > 50% of theirs.

    Put yourself in Bayern shoes.

They came to let's main weapon Anfield and got a clean sheet. Never looked in trouble really.

They might be quite happy given out record this year away.

When our opponents are happy im not.

For me we were poor enough... the PERFORMANCE isn't there and that's the issue for me... we are talking big but we haven't been good since city beat us in league tbh.

We need to find that performance level v utd or we all know whats coming

Given the form Robbo is in, there isn’t much difference between him and Moreno currently

The second half was pathetic - no urgency, no speed or quick passing, and the constant ****ing up of attacks.

It was very disappointing considering the promising first half. With that said, 0-0 isn’t the worst result ever. I’m still confident of getting a result in Munich - VVD is back and Fabinho moves back into midfield.

It was great to see Trent back - whilst his attacking threat wasn’t quite there, he was still good defensively against the formidable Coman.

Keita and Hendo deserves plaudits for their first halves but like the rest, they didn’t do much in second half. I’d probably give it to Fabinho because he pretty much won everything, and made some vital tackles,

You are right. He was nervy, he couldn't get the basics of a good body shape right. Clearly zero confidence of the lad inside him as he panicked over gnabry running inside him at all.

His crossing was truely awful. Awful. He wasted 3 good positions first half just wildly swinging at ball.

Not sure if he needs a rest but he’s been poor for the past 4-5 games bar Bournemouth.

    Slightly worrying.

For me we started second half better and on 55mins Martinez sat down on pitch and remained seated for over a minute messing with his laces and the ref allowed him. Imo after that we never got going again which is shocking.

The guy tried it again twice and he was extremely slow getting off pretending he was cramped. That was about 80mins... again we never did a thing after.

If you allow your flow to be that easily disrupted there's something badly wrong

A couple of things about last night.

Bayern played really deeply and gave us little space but we still carved out a few chances. Salah had to get his head up and look to release the ball instead of running into trouble every time.

Fab played very well. They caused us few problems with our reserve CB and a midfielder as a back 2.

Finally, we’ve looked rusty after coming back from two training camps now. I just hope that they will benefit from having so much rest as the season progresses. It’s crunch time now.

The subs killed the game as well. Think Klopp was happy with just the clean sheet .

Woeful game. Bayern will be disappointed to not get an away goal, although they hardly tried.
Our passing was terrible, gave away the ball constantly

    It was incredibly frustrating.

That situation late in second half where i think keita had it and had what was frankly a piss easy ball to the left to play and managed to not once but twice **** it summed it all up.

the amount of times we bascially played a horrendously sloppy ball at the back as well was astonishing.

I would say at last 50% of the time we had guys play their team mate into trouble by playing ball behind them and forcing them to turn back to their opponents and cutting off most options before they even got it. just the pure absolute basics.

I actually thought it was a decent game. No goals doesn't mean boring, both teams were creating good chances but neither took them.

First half - yes. Second half was so boring.

0-0 is still a decent result for us. Plus we have VVD to return and Fabinho back in midfield.
