Championship promotion race analysed: Who has what it takes to get promoted to the Premier League this season? https://www.skysports.com/football/...et-promoted-to-the-premier-league-this-season Pruttons Assessments.~ With the momentum they've got, they should be looking to cement a place in the top six and I think people will be very wary of them."
Tough, tough run in. Head-to-heads: It remains to be seen whether the Robins' FA Cup run will hinder their top six hopes, as their run to the Carabao Cup semi-finals did last term, but their run-in may prove a significant stumbling block, anyway. They must still face the following: Norwich (Feb 23), Leeds (March 9), Sheffield United (March 30), Middlesbrough (April 2), West Brom (April 9) and Derby (April 27).
these are all 2 edge swords! 6 draws would be magic .. 2 wins 2 losses and 2 draws would be special .. .. … whilst 3 wins very special … of course against the right teams
What a fantastic opportunity to rip points away from the other top teams! Our fate is in our hands. We can get an Auto place. The other teams have to rely on other results going their way.
The proverbial six pointers await us and we need to be prepared for the fight of our lives if we want to be in the mix at the end of this season. Stating that these are the dog matches of our season doesn't even begin to describe how really critical they are to our future. Despite my reservations about whether or not we can succeed in our remit I truly believe that we have never been so solid in all areas of the pitch and we'll leave the under the radar remarks to the ill informed and just go about our business in the same way that has led us to this point. Keep the faith and I think we could be about to see the best of Bristol City and let's see where we end up.
Tough run in, we are however difficult to beat . Top 2 - afraid not Playoffs - possible Just missing out - probable I hope I’m wrong. Our best chance is if others underestimate us. Great run either way, I’m enjoying being the in the mix.
At the moment looking at all the fixtures still to come by far the easiest run in Is Norwich …. hardest Derby
Not a bad night for us - Derby dropping points against Ipswich was a pleasant surprise & whilst I thought Norwich going to Preston was a tricky game I still thought they'd get a point. Would have been better if Sheffield United had drawn with Boro & I thought Swansea might have put up more of a fight but we're in a great position.
