Not a foul at all for me. Keeper has to be stronger than that. Slowed down it looks like there may be a foul but it would be very soft. He has made a few mistakes lately but at our level he is a decent keeper. He has hit a bit of poor form, he has earnt the right to work through it. You can’t say that indefinitely but it’s been 3 games. There will always be idiots.

Almost every other goalkeeper in the league has made similar mistakes this season and some of them cost a lot more than Dubravka. Allison and Pickford have had some shockers as has De Gea.

Dubravka’s are amplified because we are one of the lowest scoring teams in the division so are obviously more likely to cost us points. His saves have probably saved us as many points.

He is punching way above his weight - just a pity he didnt try and do it with this cross but absolutely understand why he tried to catch it and kill the game.

This is the big problem. I get we will never be free scoring under Rafa even if we had the attacking players. However owing to the fact we refuse to invest in the squad, its gonna be tricky for any team. Then your keeper makes a mistake, its invariably points gone.

We should have been given a free kick (foul on Almiron)
We should have had play ended at least 20 seconds before

We should NOT be berating our keeper despite him ****ing up
We should NOT be spending the next 12 days bitching about the above

We should be looking at how well we played away to a side in 7th
We should be thinking about "if we play like this then 6 points in the next 2 weeks"
We should be talking more about Longstaff
We should be discussing the impact Almiron had on the Wolves game and the likely impact he will have on us in the last part of the season and more excitingly next season

Sure but we can moan on a forum. Better here than at SJP.

Besides I’m a serial complainer. And I have questioned Dubravka even before his spurs error. I just think he needs to sharpen up a little, he’s let the early adulation go to his head a bit.

As Pouch says, we are starved of quality. I don’t know what we’d do with ourselves if we ever got proper investment. The fans went mental over Almiron, when earlier in the window a full back was signed permanently by Wolves for slightly less and Bournemouth bought a Liverpool u23 player for about the same. We really are a tin pot outfit disguised as a sizeable club in a top flight stadium.

There is no need to display your weakness at Maths on every thread on our board - we have got it now.

His mistake against Spurs cost us 1pt as we were drawing and we lost (=1pt)
His mistake against Wolves cost us 2pts as we were winning and we drew (=2pt)

    1+2 =3

Note: 3 is less than 4

0,1, or 3 potential points lost from Spurs.
It depends on how negatively you look at it.
Fair enough the points from Wolves.

If someone puts their arm in your face, you will automatically close your eyes.
I regarded that as a modern-day foul. You can't touch Goalkeepers these days, except when you can like Monday night. FFS.

Yes, on the face it, Dubravka was at fault for losing the team two points against Wolves and losing a point at Spurs the other week.
But, when you consider he is the best 'keeper we have and the amount of points he's saved us, you really have to ask yourself who you would replace him with. Assuming he does 'need a rest' :emoticon-0112-wonde
