    Date: Tuesday 12th February (Février)

    Time: 8pm

    Venue: Old Trafford

Viewing possibilities: BT Sports 2 or various dodgy streams. It's not on Sky Sports FFS. Everyone knows that

Injury news: Neymar and Cavani are having their hair done

Interesting fact: Kylian Mbappé was the inspiration behind the 1997 Hanson family megahit "Mmmbop"

Wasn't sure about this one but tonight the French lad in the shop opposite me said all his friends in Paris reckon we are going to win. He is pretty clued up with football and if he believes them, so will I

Well they are missing some big players so probably why they think they won’t win. Still going to be a very difficult game for us.

This is of importance and accuracy as RHC telling us his journalist mate thinks anything at all!

Does RHC have a journalist mate? Never seen him mention that!

    You are in good form.

Meunier, Neymar, Cavani out; Verratti coming back from injury

Pretty much what you'd now call the first team.
Good, well balanced, bench too, which doesn't include Smalling even.

Sanchez is worse than crap. No movement, no tackles, no vision - no bottle.

Tough to go there and turn this around. Looks like you're out at this point.

We lost all shape and any impetus losing both Martial and Lingard. The second half was a dreadful performance as a result.

Even before then, Pogba was spending most of his time wandering around on the left wing trying to keep Martial company, instead of being where he's dangerous.
He didn't have a good enough game and Rashford disappeared in the second half once he'd lost his pals.

Notably, I thought Bailly was gash in defence, Lindelof had to do his own job and had to cover Bailly too. Not easy against Mbappe!

Shaw's final ball is rubbish too, every time, he needs to improve on that quickly.

It wasn't great and looks unlikely we'll pull this one round. can't say I expected us to progress very far in the competition though so at least we can focus on the ultimate top four trophy and possibly go for the FA cup.

Manu United = the new Arsenal. For now.
