  2. Great 3 points..... But we have some issues to address.... Notably at full back. Both right and left are very vulnerable.

Poor performance but the results really are all that matters at the moment while we’re coping with fatigue and injuries.

Son probably had his worst game in months yet grabbed the goal that sealed the win <laugh>. He really is in contention for not just ours, but Prem POTY, fantastic season so far for him.

Hold that thought. It’s the CL midweek so he could have another of his famous brain farts!

Despite the 9 point gap between us and the rest, I still wanna see city beat Chelsea.
We’ve still gotta play Liverpool and City away. I don’t fancy our chances in either of those games, so as big a gap as possible between us and 4th could really benefit us later in the season, IMO.

Not the greatest performance but our goals came at the right time to keep them at arms length

We seemed to have scrapped our pressing game but once again we showed the Eye of the Tiger.

True, but for most of it he was just running and not offering a lot. He got dispossessed in a horrible position too. For the first time since breaking into the first team I felt today he struggled a bit.
But then again, Trippier struggles every week <laugh>

What a pass by Sissoko for Son's goal.

If they win, they’re still 7 points off us with City just two ahead who’ve played one more game than us. Surely a Chelsea win is best for us?

That is a big "win" bonus he has lost today.
