Not quite convinced that our attackers have much faith in playing the ball to Llorente's feet....that's a shame because he's got a tidy touch and a brain that works. We made them look better than they are so let's hope Poch gives them a wake up call once again. Son not being intelligent today...too head down...wants to do it all himself COYS
Oliver's ****. Always said it. Same **** who didn't see Son getting fouled in the area against Liverpool books him for diving after he gets tripped. Jan and Danny's bookings were soft as **** too. This is the same ref that normally lets the first half an hour go by as a free-for-all yet books 3 of ours in that time. We need to be very careful in the second half as he's blatantly up for sending off one of ours today. Why is it officials are always grown-arsed men in their 40s with more gel in their hair than a 12 year old going to their first school disco. Bet they stink of Lynx too.
He’s not shown that today, though. I’ve seen at least 2 terrible first touches. It just doesn’t stick to him like it does with Kane. Which is probably why they don’t have any faith!
The authorities got to look at the double standard of this fella today.. He's making referees look bad.
Michael Oliver is the same referee that regularly gifts Mo Daley penalty kicks for his theatrical dives and yet ignores Son being scythed down by Mane at Wembley and then books Son today for being tripped. He`s a closet Pool fan, well known for it.
For me Son has been the most wasteful...plenty desire no thought They need to have faith in Llorente, he's wearing the shirt...he's won more than all of them put together and I believe he's got something to offer....no point comparing him to Kane...no one comes close.
Disagree, normally those kind of ones get bookings either as accumulation or because they catch the player with studs on the heel. Looked a completely inncouous challenge on the replay, the Leicester player just sold it well.
They are swarming around Son though, and he’s already on a booking. He’s hardly had it easy. But we all know he can come up with a moment of magic. Llorente has something to offer, but we’ve gotta get better at playing to his strengths. Rose and Trippier need to focus on getting it onto his head. If they are prevented by Leicester’s defence from doing so, there’s not much point in persisting with Llorente.
