https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...s-Ralph-Hasenhuttl-sends-warning-Cardiff.html Hassenhuttl says he wouldn't want to play Saints this weekend because we are hot. Go, Ralphie
] Well he had no impact at all in the first half at Derby. Edit: ignore this. I was trying to be funny thinking he didn’t play first half... that was at St Mary’s. What a plonker I am!
Obviously you're a plonker, mate. That's taken as read, but I'd love to have had that conversation with the bloke originally described. People around me at Derby agreed that Nathan was the only bright spot in an otherwise tedious performance. On the subject of the minutes silence, I feel vaguely guilty in saying it's being milked. But it is. However, it is "the modern way". We all have to have our emotions wrung out in public or we are accused of not caring. Do I think it tragic that a young man lost his life in an accident? Of course, and as a parent I feel for his family. But I do object to being told how I should feel about it.
Am hopeful of a win and very hopeful of avoiding relegation, but no more than that. Over a 90 min match (plus the apparent 8 minutes that only Saints have to play ) anything can happen. Great to win today, but we are not to panic if we don't
This is a must game today Not must win Not must lose Not must draw Just a must goto the game & support the Saints.
I can't share that level of confidence, simply because we've got nowhere near the quality in this squad that Koeman had to work with. I can't see us losing. But I can see us dominating and struggling to score.
There was a really good article in last week's Mail on Sunday (sidebar of shame alert) about all the worst kind of agenty dealings behind the Sala transfer. You might come away with the impression that Emiliano's best interests were the last thing they were all thinking about. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/s...ala-pawn-sordid-transfer-shames-football.html
I didnt mean we are as good as we were back then. But the form we are in, the growing confidence and weak opposition do give me confidence. Ralph really has got us to being greater than the sum of our parts.
