Ok so Bielsa says he only wants players who can make the group better and he wanted James. Now sure there are more players but we’re looking for someone who Bielsa wants, who’s potentially available and of course fits our budget. Not easy in January. We identify James, Swansea are interested but want to keep him and sell others but might have to sell him so we try. What else should we have done? it’s a perfect storm of the club not wanting to sell a player because he’s good but maybe having to sell, we wanting a player because he’s good so we go for it.
