Couldn't they cover it up by using VPNs to give different IP addresses? Or doesn't the site allow registrations if using a VPN? Some newspaper sites won't let you log in if using a VPN for example. Just curious.

You could tune into Live Super League on Sky tomorrow night to cheer yourself up but even Sky aren't bigging up the Hull derby, they're predicting an underwhelming season for both clubs.

Appearing on the original Febbos OG list was a poster called 'barc-hullona' aged 45. Cannot remember what the poster changed his name to but remember a conversation with him about a clash with 'Barchullona' when it appeared as a change from Castro's Coffin. Said he was unhappy, discussed it with admin then moved on with his new name. Maybe the new name was Des Head?

Can you imagine any teams bus arriving at the KC for a football match, then getting attacked and 'having its windows put through' escaping the shock, horror, football hooligans etc etc' headlines in the local media ?
Or worse still not getting mentioned at all ?
One supporters bus window smashed at Millwall last week made the national BBC news.
But in Hull the windows of the coach carrying the team get smashed and it doesn't warrant a mention ?
There's no hidden agenda surely ?

Thinking about this and I'm not sure I believe Radford. Think about it, local derby so I imagine they'd be people on the street, and the team bus is passing a pub at a major road junction close to the ground. The bus gets attacked, windows are broken, beer is thrown at the bus and so on and not one person captured it on a mobile phone ? Not one ? Takes some believing. But why would the fc coach make up such a story and repeat it 12 months later in the local rag ?

Des Head has been posting since 2011 long before I changed my name so it won't have been him unless he used 2 names and stopped using one of them.

 

Traffic gridlock in town, lots of touts trying to buy,. groups of starry-eyed continentals with half and half scarves, lots of elaborate choreo planned by opposing tifosi, special souvenir £8 programme on sale with John Fieldhouse articles inside.

It can only be the world famous Hull derby.

 

No programmes for KR. Everything online. Had to go to Castle Hill for an appointment this morning so heard more Radio Humberside in the car than I would normally. That is one of the ground breaking firsts (their words not mine). Another is for the first time Rovers sold more tickets online than by other methods. Another is that the interest the game has generated such interest it will be new record for New Craven Park. Lots of talk on every news bulleting about A City Divided and Ausdies being asked about if they knew what to expect, the intensity etc. And of course "hilarious banter" from people texting in.
Of course the biggest crowds this weekend will be for Six Nations games but those won't get a mention on Radio Rugby League Sportstalk. Lloyd goes on about cricket as it is the national team but never mentions the bigger, more popular version of rugby.
