You could be right. Suppose we've got Tyler Hamilton in the youth set up too. I guess as OLM it's because he's been such an integral part of the team, to lose him now would feel like a huge blow, but if we were getting a proven Championship striker, it would soften the blow.
Hebis vital to how we play, if we did sign Barrow there are at least similarities in playing styles. However good Pugh is they are very different players and Grosicki ability to get us up the pitch in seconds is so vital to our counter attacking style. In an ideal world where our owners invested in the team we would keep Grosicki and have a proven striker like Assombalonga.

Graeme Bailey @GraemeBailey Kamil Grosicki to Middlesbrough now looking unlikely - Hull weren't keen to deal with Boro after being messed around over Ashley Fletcher last summer, and they are not inclined to strike a deal now.
Hope this is true, not just to keep Kamil, but how they seemingly ****ed us about with such an unproven player.
I can't think why Grosiki would want to go to Middlesbrough anyway. Bigger wage? He's supposedly on a good wedge here, so would they pay him more? Doubt it.
The Allams didn't get where they are today without recognizing " being messed around" when they see it
All these links with strikers / wingers is frustrating , priority just needs to be a centre back . Even tho we shouldn't be surprised by anything The Allams are involved in , i would be shocked if even they expect Nigel to carry on without one
