Just saw this - why can’t we loan out or sell Smith (apart from no one else wanting him) & keep a talented youngster...madness
Because we want our youngsters to play serious game time...so next season they can come back and play for us.. We would not play Oteh more than a few minutes here a few there. Smith won't be here next year Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
It's OK if we can recall him if we need to due injury/ suspensions. Not sure we can though, the Official says only it can be extended should Walsall reach the play offs.
I don’t disagree with that rationale - I guess my point is I’d much rather Oteh came on & got some game time as SMc’s change rather than Smith who in all the games I’ve seen this season contributes almost nothing and forces us to play long ball to a guy who never wins a header and is about as mobile as a fitted wardrobe....(a consolation goal in the last 10 mins of a game we were losing 0-3 doesn’t really change my opinion on him)......
Rangers considering taking a new contract cleaning company for the trophy room for every third Thursday of the month with an option of once every two weeks at the end of the season. Rangers announce new temp in the ticket office. Rangers have a vacancy in the W12 bar as plastic cup collector and washer up, home games only I love transfer deadline day
Is this not a bit harsh on the lad. Did a job for us last season, with goals and assists. Whilst he may not be technically gifted, he has put a few away in the past and if given a run in the first team he could well do a job for us again. Not really had much of a chance to contribute this season and I believe he offers a plan c if things are not working. Nothing wrong with the odd long ball if it means a result I am not saying I want to see him start or play regularly, just dont think the criticism is necessary or deserved really. You only have to look at how Eze has developed from going out on loan to see how this system can be of a huge benefit to us.
Isn't it great being under a transfer embargo at thus time of year....no stupid last minute buys, no stupid rumours doing the rounds, the joys of watching others squander stupid sums of money on players we haven't heard off.... Best value transfer window in years...
It's odd isn't it? We seem to be heading for mid table obscurity this season (which is probably a relief rather than a problem) and most of the youngsters that regularly feature in the match day squad have put in decent cameos over recent weeks and months. That would seem to be a tailor-made scenario for allowing them more game time and building the young hungry side the club says it wants and hopefully build towards a promotion-challenging side. And yet one-by-one they are disappearing out on loan yet again. Can anyone explain this to me?
Because we still think we are in the hunt for 6th place...and we have loan wages to pay and feel we need value for money Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
Sky report Crouch going from Stoke to Burnley with Vokes going the other way. Hope this means Wells is staying with us for the rest of the season at least.
Chair confirmed on loan to Stevenage for the rest of the season. For me he looked closer to the 1st 11 than both Oteh and Smyth, particularly as an alternative to Eze, who has been looking like he needs a break for months now. Still, playing for a play off place in League 2 should be good experience for him.
thank 2222 Adel turned down the fakes. I will always have those great memories without them being tainted by some plastic who would have said "he was a Reading player".
Yes an honest professional...…..he flicked on a perfect header Saturday and Bright made it look **** because he didn't go for it. If SM is going to play him even for a few minutes then they ALL have to change the way they play
