Didn't see game (stupid they put the game on during working hours mid week)... Disappointed not to have won, but I'd rather be 5 points ahead than 5 points behind.
Haha. Amazing insight. Me I’d rather be 7 points behind than 7 points ahead. What do people constantly say that ? One point gained is better than none. We could have been 7 points ahead. But more annoyed about the performance which was rank. I was worried that our declining performances would catch up on us. The first time we’ve dropped points to a non top 6 side and at home. I’d be absolutely furious if we squander our advantage at this point of the season.
The team has to be getting exhausted by now, and I'm sure the cold doesn't help get the best out of them.
This point of the season is nothing, there are a lot of games to play yet. Newcastle were 12 points ahead of us after one game less (23) yet we beat them by 4 points, a lot can happen in the next 14 games for both you and City. Just enjoy the battle and hope for the best
She's very tired....but she's clearly more than a match for out entire squad....except Mane.... who's either Big Jim Slade or gay....
Did you see the sh*t they had to play in? The whole game slowed down and that favoured Leicester. Klopp said as much. We were unlucky with the weather and unlucky we got a sh*t bottle job ref who could clearly see a pen but failed to give it. 2 major decisions against us in that game. Leicester played well. They're a top half team. Our performance was not great but the ref's performance was much worse. We are looking wobbly at the back again and our midfield goes missing sometimes. Now is not a good time for that trait to return. Hope Gomes and TAA return and Milner comes back refreshed!
The only team I'm #worried about is PGMOL BTW Spurs are #nailedon to drop points next game because they play first and if they win risk going second if City lose
We should expect more games like this before the end of the season, we just have to take our chances. Everyone will drop points, Chelsea were thrashed by Bournemouth last night, Now, depends how we react at West Ham. We better the result of city by one point.
The sooner we get Trent and Gomez back in the defence, and Fabinho in the middle, the better. Also, Salah hardly touched the ball today. He’s our best player. We needed to get him involved.
On Naby, I don’t think he was poor. I think he just didn’t do enough. Unfortunately, he was starting to be more aggressive in the second half and should have had a penalty before he hooked. Thought Gini and Shaq could have done more as well.
Like Sturridge, injuries have taken their toll. That is 200K in wages per week for those two players who hardly play. We should be able to add a quality player to push the front 3 harder with such a wage.
