Born in paddington. Dad was a fan, grandad was a fan, great grandad watched them as St Judes. My Dad was an ambulance driver and managed to sneak me in on the duty ambulace before I was 1yo. My 2yo son has a shirt and will be carrying on the line.
R's forever, long after I'm gone, I'll haunt the place.

Some great stories here. I too was born in St Mary's and heard this week that they are considering closing the hospital, that would be another part of my past life erased. If they ever move to a new stadium that would be such a chunk of my memories under the bulldozer!

With the R's it doesn't really matter whether you're born or adopted, you certainly couldn't be described as a glory hunter, just someone with discerning taste...

Born and bred Northerner, but family are exclusively Southerners and more to the point exclusively Rangers fans. From the mid eighties through to the present QPR are still the only team for me despite the Who? What ? and Why? questions that the peruvian hoop mentioned.... Don't forget i grew up surrounded by Man U , Liverpool and Man City Fans!!

My local team is Macclesfield town and i have been to see them play too but my heart is with the mighty 'R' s

Born Wembley, brought up Harrow (Arra). Suppose Watford geographically closest but never an option! First match 3-0 v Cardiff at beginning of 72/73 promotion season, aged 11.

Footy mad as a kid and loosely supported Man Utd cos my best mate did. But when I was 10 years old my auntie who was a midwife delivered a footballers wife's baby and knowing I was football mad she asked him for an autograph. It was a personal message on a signed photo from a certain Andy Sinton!! I wa so chuffed. Loved the blue and White hoops and with Loftus road only 25 miles from where I lived it made sense to become a hoop.....never looked back.....

Grandad was born and bred in Praed Street, paddington and started to go in the twenties, mum and uncle avid hoops, only one choice for me. Lived in Kent all my life but definitely born a hoop. The old fella still a hoop and has been for 89 years! Its in the blood. My seven year old daughter is on the bandwagon, just need to convince the 5 year old son ( who supports norwich this week lol ! ).

Born in Kent, left there at aged three and moved to Tolworth in Surrey where I stayed until I bought me flat in Ewell. Dad and brothers supported Arsenal kids at school supported Liverpool, and it was only after seeing QPR in 1973/74 season with niece and her then boyfriend (both QPR mad) that I started to follow and spread the word around the school about QPR. Years later, tried the same technique on my nephew......and it worked for a while but he has had a mixed upbringing...he started supporting Arsenal, then went to see QPR a few times (I tried to educate him), his uncle from his mum's side said support Millwall and now he supports Man U. and I promised him when he was a nipper that if QPR and Utd played in premier league I would take him to Old Trafford. Inow live in Bournemouth (its a long story) and don't get to my first love as often as I like...butI am Rangers till i depart this mortal coil

Being an R was never in doubt.

Born in W7, so absolutely equidistant between QPR and Brentford. My dad took me to Griffin Park quite a few times as a kid, when simply getting to a game was an event. However, before all of that tosh, he'd taken me to Loftus Road just the once.

There's your backstory, the rest is history....

I was Rangers from pretty early on. Lived in West London so they were my local team, and my uncle supported them. I got my two younger brothers on board, and then when I was 16 the three of us got Dad hooked as well...now he is the only season ticket holder of the four of us. I've got a photo on my wall of me in my QPR kit looked thrilled to bits in what must have been around 1990.

I was born in bow and moved out of london at a young age. But i use to go to loftus rd watch rangers and then in the evening, we would go to whitecity dog track. Saturday was always great buzz for me, because quite often i see stan bowles at the track after watching him play that afternoon, you know i always lost my pocket money following his tips. I now live in the sth of france where most people are man utd or chelsea ect, but theres quite a lot of arabs around and a few times when i had my QPR shirt on i have been asked about QPR, and adel Tarrabt, who are shown on aljazeera tv quite abit which is cool. Maybe one day we could do a per season tour here, we could play MONACO and NICE which would be nice. (AMIT/TONY/OR NW )sleep on that idea.

Thought the world was flat Started playing football at 9 got good playing in men's village team asked for trial by Fulham at 11 didn't make it as also go at Chelsea. Couple of lads got in with QPR Micky French and Steve Jones. I was draw to QPR that way if I remember ... I was the only QPR fan in the village or at school and it felt mighty fine as you may guess I was a Dave Thomas fan moved to France later on and played a bit there near Montpellier

Good stuff sth of france QPR. I'm actually now living in Paris, and I get the same response when I wear my QPR shirt. I have managed to find three or four other QPR fans in Paris, and we all go and watch in a pub here that shows the games...so if you are ever in Paris and we are playing, let me know.
