May have already been posted Barnsley are keen on a move for Hull City defender Lewis Ritson, according to journalist Pete O’Rourkeon Twitter. The Tykes want to sign the youngster on a permanent deal whereas the Tigers are only willing to sanction a loan for him. Ritson is likely to leave the KCOM Stadium on loan before the transfer deadline tomorrow. Other Hull players like Brandon Fleming, Max Sheaf and Callum Burton may also get Football League or National League loans for more first-team experience.
Headline in the Hull daily fail.. From fax machines in York to Paris hotels, few deliver deadline day drama like Hull City... Your not ****ing kidding !!!!
I often wonder if he is a parody account, as I can't recall a single one of his Hull City exclusives ever happening. 86K followers, so he must be half-informed, at least.
Pete O'Rourke @SportsPeteO Middlesbrough eye move for Hull winger Kamil Grosicki, but face competition from Monaco for Poland international. #Boro #hcafc #asmonaco He's sometimes right, often wrong.
Philip Buckingham @PJBuckingham Not expecting any business from #hcafc today so it'll be all on deadline day. Twas ever thus.
We knew from day one of the window we needed a centre half as a top priority. We identified one but it fell through quickly. How come we dont have other targets we can move on. It’s come down to the last minute again with all the problems that entails. Now there appears strong interest for Turbo from home and abroad. A strong sense of deja vu is getting stronger by the hour. Quell surprise !
I can't see us selling Grosicki to another Championship club. If he leaves it'll be something more exotic than bloody Boro
Turning down Boro is one thing, but the money on offer from an oil rich club in the French riviera might be too good to pass up, especially at his age. Naturally it'll cost them £10m, not a penny less or more...
