You're keeping it tight again here, that's why I predicted 2-1. It's credit to Rafa for how well drilled the team is but like you say, it's absolutely toothless and for the players you have, it could be better. Cardiff have less quality than you, but at least they go after teams.
Towards the end of last season Kenedy, Perez, Shelvey, etc beat the likes of Leicester (away), Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham and I think a few others to go from fighting relegation to 10th. The same players look clueless going into the opposition half. Yes Rafa had them playing better than their abilities then but he also has them playing very poorly now. We have players good enough to survive, not by much, but enough. I think Rafa is as good a manager as we could get but if Almiron proves to be a flop (and I think he will) and we get relegated (which I'm 50-50 on) then he has to take a fair share of responsibility.
Makes sense! Fair play to them if they win, no easy task and I was almost starting to feel sorry for them haha
I still wouldn't have thought that would be enough to be honest. There's time yet for us to mess it up, easily. Working with Liverpool fans this is tempered slightly but all of them telling me that this is their year now. They're probably right now in fairness unless City score 2. Even a draw is great for Liverpool.
Never a penalty to the mags, Barnsley only draw, Portsmouth lose good results for us. and what the hell happened at old Trafford ?
