I thought we did zonal marking, but I get what you're saying.

Sharpe (32 & 5'7") is a seasoned campaigner at this level, as is Madine (28 & 6'2"). Godfrey (21, 2 weeks ago) is just learning his trade, so there will be occassions when he struggles, but to suggest he won't be an effective CB at this level or higher baised on him only being 6' and struggling against the likes of Sharpe and Madine at this stage in his career is a bit crazy in my mind. Steve Bruce was only 6' and he did okay for us. Sergio Ramos is a farily decent CB at 6'. What's his height got to do with it?

I was disappointed yesterday. Really thought the extra day's training, playing at home with a much changed team from our first game at SU would make all the difference. But only 7 shots for the entire game is weak. We lost the aerial battle 11-28!

Zimm has readily admitted he was at fault for their second as he lost Sharpe. Have to give credit to Blades, though; it was very good cross and finish, but why was no one guarding the back post?

BG's height has always been a concern for me at CB. I can only assume that he is winning a starting position over Hanley during the week.

We are 1-4-1 in our last 6 league games. Not good enough. And yet, if we take a point at Leeds next week we will still be in 2nd place. We have to get back to winning ways (obviously).

You have to look at who've played. Drawing with SU was disappointing but hardly the end of the world. Remember where we were at the start of the season, There were very few supporters that thought we'd be where we are now and there's only one team in the league that wouldn't swap positions with us right now and we play them next. Win, draw or lose next week will not make or break our season there are plenty of points to be had further down the line.

At the beginning of the season I predicted 10th place for us with a possible shot at the playoffs if everything clicked. We're certainly achieving more than that at the moment. As a human being I'm greedy and always want a little bit more. The old adage that "winning is a habit" comes in to play. These 7 weeks culminating with Leeds on Sat. always looked like they were going to be rough.

Your fault for not stipulating a goals per minutes playing time clause <whistle>

Fair play Wilder. Didn't expect that response from him.

Steve Bruce and Ramos could/can win headers. Yes the pair on Sat were experienced but Godfrey was beaten over and over in the air which gave them impetuous going forward. I get that he has potential, but i fear his lack of CURRENT experience might stop us making the automatic spots, if we are not careful.
