But they just turn it on Rafa. They say: he wanted Messi We offered: Almiron He said: No We signed Almiron: Rafa walked
It is very hard to know. I think the majority will just look at Ashley and Co's history, and understandably assume that is just bull and they are the ones being deliberately awkward. I too struggle with the notion that Rafa is taking the KK approach and simply submitting unrealistic demands. Look at the players he has signed and been happy about, not a single one has been of the Man C genre. So that would be my first take on it. I don't think they'd go back down the route of signing players who are realistic. One the constructive dismissal would be an issue, and secondly that didn't work out on a playing front last time either! The only aside would have to be that Rafa is well known to be this kind of manager. He has always played the board, fans and media to suit his needs. A lot of managers do this, Jose is the same. A lot don't and I think they are better managers for it but it takes all sorts. I think this is just someone portraying to be ITK who has simply used Rafa's past and management style, this boards history of not giving a manager anything, and then presenting a nicely fitting story. It is only twitter, home of the majority of modern bullshit.
Just trying to cheer up the board a bit. There is an impending sense of doom about it at the moment. Chippy seems to be in free fall now. Wouldnt be surprised if he is back at the Stadium of Light if we don’t sign anybody this week.
Nah he will just hammer the cans and then piss them out all over Groot as part of his care in the community work.
T I'm at a hotel in Cheltenham tonight so will have to slum it and drink out of pint glasses. Never tastes the same.
He has, but Ashley said in his interview on Sky that he regrets not giving Allardyce more time. Ashley wanted Keegan back at all costs and Allardyce paid the price. Granted it's unlikely, but I wouldn't rule it out completely. "Unfinished Business" - you can just see the headlines...
If Leicester city come knocking and offer Ashley 3million for Rafa and Rafa wants to go. It’s simple, he’s gone. Ashley does not care one bit about Rafa and we all know we won’t sign the right players anyways. So does Rafa. Rafa has come out of all this with dignity and professionalism even if he was to walk now. The real issue here is more than just Rafa. The club is dying and Ashley is murdering it. Everyone can see it and guess what. He ****ing likes it aswell.
Telling for me Rafa had to threaten to quit and refuse to endorse season tickets yesterday (amongst mass hysteria and, like, 87 different protests being lined up) and then guess what 24 hours later - 2 signings coming in for medicals. It's almost as though they think people can't see the level of idiocracy at the club but you'd be hard pressed to find a fan who doesn't truly know whats going on behind closed doors
Where are all the whiney ****s now? Refuse to learn from their mistakes season by season. Rafa doesn't
Don't be silly. Are you honestly saying you believe that this happened (Rafa denied it by the way) and it had some sort of impact on our transfer business? We will sign who we were always going to sign and when we were always going to sign them. This board could do more if it wanted. It doesn't it only does what it really needs to. We were already staying up, the signings just confirm it really. We'll be back to square one in the summer and Rafa will be upset again.
