Can't get away tickets...they always go to season ticket holders first and always sell out before they get to members.
Have only missed City and Bournemouth at Wembley this season though. Going on Wednesday and a.c. Leicester but don't think I can do the toon game on Saturday as my uni kid is visiting...
Bet your sorry you asked now after reading the sorry tale that passes for my social life <laugh>

Top effort RCL

At Chelsea, we receive a fixed allocation for season holders and keep some back for members, which really pisses seasons off when they can't get aways and members do instead.

Tbf, only members who attend all games get a chance of (some) aways and they are spending as much, if not more, as season tickets

Tbh I have no idea how it can be arranged without someone getting pissed off...I figure it's fair enough that season ticket holders get first options.
But I do miss the odd away day.
I never really made many but I have been to Boundary park in the early 1990s, to Filbert Street, The Valley, Selhurst Park, Highbury, Blackpools place, Loftus Park (All in the 80s and90s)... and (when I worked at the Edinburgh festival in 1991) saw us play a pre season friendly against Hearts.

Yes, great when you could pay on the door on the day
