    If it’s not a round badge I won’t be buying a shirt

*probably worth mentioning that I have literally never bought a shirt, so I won’t be even if it is round...but my point still stands

Is it just me or is there some hints in there that the Tigers head will be changed

"A crest is the most obvious, visual piece of identity of a football club..."

So, Allams, stop ****ing about with it and with us, and just put it back to what it was when you took over temporary custody of 'our' club you utter ****s.

I'd say it hinted the exact opposite.

We managed plenty of years without one. We didn't have one before the WW2 and from 1960 to 1970.

I don't mind not having the name on, we didn't for our first badge. We know who we are and the teams we are playing do. Just a tiger's head shows we are the Tigers. Other clubs know by an animal nickname manage without the club name, Spurs, Wolves, Derby. Just a tiger's head, preferably a more fearsome looking one than the current one would be fine. No 1904, the Allam's pathetic attempt to back up Papa Allam's ludicrous assertion we have always been known as Hull City Tigers.
It is a fair assumption most won't like it whatever it is.

There really is no downside to actually having 'Hull City' on the crest though , despite what we might have had before WW2

Who said there was a downside to having Hull City?
Before WW2 all we had was one season with 3 coronets on a non black and Amber shirt.

We didn't have numbers on the shirts, we didn't have names on the shirts, we didn't have crests on the shirts and we didn't have sponsors on shirts. Things have moved on.

Yes, it was a matter of great regret to City fans in the Waggy, Chillo, Butler era that we had none of those. All the many goals they scored, promotion and an FA Cup Quarter Final didn't compensate.

It's positive that people like Leslie Motherby are involved in stunts like this.

We all know we had a great badge that didn't need any changes, but at least there is some recognition of the history of a crest, and Les M is one of the most articulate and informed 'kit geeks' out there.

Sledgehammer to crack a walnut really, as we had already one of the very best badges until it got tampered with.

Edit.: Just spotted the Umbro walk on presentation jacket that LM is wearing has been 'modified'; so that it has a 90s crest on it sewn on over the **** 'no name' crest it was sold with.

Wonder if anyone at the club spotted it?

Good at the time but none of them would get a snifter of a game nowadays.
