Could have been worse but I suspect with Watford sitting pretty in mid table they will put out a strong side as they will probably think they could make it to Wembley with so many of the big boys already gone and another sure to go.
I'm delighted. Win the replay and I get to see the game against Watford. Lose the replay and I get to see Leeds in the league.
Yes Watford probably 3rd favourites after City and Chelski/UTD got each other. More likely to put 1st team out than any other team unfortunately so bit disappointed actually. and Millwall or Wimbledon definitely in Quarters!!.
If the draw falls out right we only need to get to the last four to be guaranteed European football next year. So get your blue passports out and visa applications in early.
TBH I wanted a good away day. I think Twatford at home is a naff draw. They will play their best team and it will be very hard for us. I am not confident...... Saying that will still need to beat Pompey who won't be easy.
If we do get there it’s not one to miss. It will be up there with the Oldham semi and Chelsea under Warnock for atmosphere. Added positive of a home game is we’ll actually all get tickets if we want them. No replays after the fourth round either.
I am also delighted, but if we play Watford and the TV-Gods decide that we play Friday or Monday evening, I'll be sitting on a plane. Then I will be completely not delighted. Anyone know when the dates will be decided?
It also think that it will be a very tough match should we get there. Possibly even a bridge too far. It will certainly be a very good reality check of where we really are perofmance wise. However, we FIRST need BEAT Portsmouth at home. So let's not count the chickens as we are still only in the 4th Round.
