Both goals would probably have been ruled out under VAR... Being honest though when VAR does come into the English leagues I'll probably stop attending matches. Just can't see the point, when everyone watching on TV will have a better understanding of why a goal has been ruled out whilst the paying fans at the ground who have just wildly celebrated a goal will be left none the wiser. Plus they still get it wrong and it's still open to the interpretation of the individual making the decision.
I wasn’t there today so watched it on telly and it was only after the second replay you could see it was handball. I spoke to my brother (who was there ) after the game and he said “people were saying our second goal was handball..was it?” I said yes, He laughed and said “about time a wrong decision goes our way “
Too right Ringo, Roofe's was on the goal-line and surreptitious, your lad slapped it in from 6 yards. Good job the ref was s***.
Ringo hope you're ok mate, but as this thread is about the so-called spygate bollox what's your view on this so called fair play charter. I say this because the media have been quiet about the trouble your fans caused yesterday and the behaviour of your manager who wanted the big screen turning off. Your club were signatories to the letter condemning Leeds Utd. How can your club marry these 2 positions
My view on spy gate Doc is that it’s a over reaction as watching from a distance at players working on set pieces and different scenarios a match may bring up is pretty much what every club works on and I would be amazed if any spy would come back with vital information that could give any advantage. The trouble that’s all over the media was down to some troublesome scousers looking to make a name for themselves and one getting slashed with his own knife, some may say live by the sword.. The club thinks the spying was poor etiquette and ask for transparency in the investigation Having admitted spying Leeds have contributed to any repercussions that may come their way.
So watching the busty woman down the road who never draws her curtains when undressing is not perving as you are on a public road?
