Lukaku on loan???

The club has gone on record saying they don’t comment on speculation with transfers.

They could have simple said nothing so why put our a statement for a player we haven’t signed.

Anyone else see this as odd?

Almost as if they are wanting to make a fantasy transfer attempt seem legit?

I wondered if the medical would be okay.
To be honest, it’s hard to tell by just looking, but the guy looks to be carrying some timber.
Maybe the knee injury he is said to have recovered from, was not so good.
Maybe we will never know what’s gone on, but it’s just more comical by the minute.

Easily believable but I took one look at his injury record, his change in physique whilst in Italy, and thought he looked like a fat injury prone ****er. Must be some ability there to end up at Lazio and around the Belgian squad but not sure we have luxury of getting someone fit and back to best.

We need impact like Dubravka, Kenedy last year. Your luck runs out eventually bargain shopping, and trying to loan your way out. It’s only because it’s a weak Prem this year we will probably stay up. Plus Rafa may not serve up entertainment but he seems to always get the job done.

I Don't work KBA PR Agency but with 50k fans turning up tomorrow screwing their nut that we haven't signed a player yet and then tearing away the one shred of hope they had at some positivity - I'd be saying "normal protocol out the window lads - we're going out there and explaining this fat prick's knee's are knackered and can't kick a ball straight"

 

I wonder if this could be our new thing. Like, offer real(not monopoly) money for Carroll for example, get him over, then tell everybody he's failed a medical and act all disappointed

 

Yet another injury prone player who couldn't pass a medical. Just look at his record over past 2 years, it says it all. IF we sign a LB he'll end up being about our 6th choice, but everyone at the club will say we were after him all the time. Joke of a club.

 

He's a bit of a commonly utilised monster on Fifa 18/19 because of his pace and chunky thighs barging people out the way. It's like marking Rambo.

I think he failed the medical. Sneaky Italians of course won't be happy if we come in and devalue one of their assets by branding him a fat knacker

 

But you would have hoped one of the first questions even Penfold would have asked is "What wage is he on?"
