I can see Palace beating them on Sunday as well. I think the wheels are falling off, and not in a typical spursey way. The injuries have been cruel, but with Son leaving, they probably should have prepared better. Oh well......
I would love to know what Poch thinks. I wonder what ambitions he has. He seems so patient, but he;s got a lot of experience now. Seems to like England. But can't just carry on at Spurs, its like he has taken them as far as they will go.
No, no, no Laces. It’s Spuds. I’m going to lap it up while I can!! * sorry Poch, maybe you should leave
I guess I've yet to figure out why we're supposed to be hateful toward Spurs. I mean, they are a team that has developed young English players, they don't spend a whole lot (arguably nowhere near as much as they should) on transfers, don't spend a whole lot on wages either (barely above us in the most-recent books available, actually), they have a manager that plays football the right way that we all pretty well like, and they've established themselves as a repeat member of the top four. Aren't those, like, exactly the things we hold up as virtues in ourselves?
For me dislike of teams stems solely from fans of that team I have encountered in my life. Every Spurs fan I have met is a complete bell end when it comes to football, same with Liverpool and Leeds. These are the only teams I really dislike and like to see fail. Football afterall is all about piss taking amongst mates
Agree about Spurs fans. Chelsea as well are complete ****wits it seems. And West Ham. Can't be a London thing though because I've got so many good friends that support Arsenal. Met good fans of all the big clubs up north, and good lads from Pompey too.
Hard to hate Gooners. I pity them more as each year passes, and they are always so generous over christmas!
