Just have a feeling. Why would someone so young and with such a prolific record and plenty of skill want to jack it all in and play in the MLS. Bielsa's find from his old club in Argentina Newells Old Boys, and he took him to Lille when he was there so knows Bielsaball as you can see. ON the books with Roma but on loan at AEK Athens but now speaking to Portland Timbers WTAF.....

I was at that game, unbelievable scenes.
I was stood next to a big bloke, who had his daughter on his shoulders, aged about 5, when the trouble kicked off with the Police he took her off his shoulders, passed him to his son who was about 11/12 years old and said"here lad, look after yer sister' then he just started laying into the coppers, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was bedlam outside later, West Brom fans had scarpered, so it was Leeds fans against the Police, don't think I've seen so many Police dogs at a game, they must of knew what was going to happen.

Was that the same match some supporters tried lighting fires in the stairwells?<yikes>

Was it the same time as the miners strike and anti police sentiment?

Don't remember seeing that mate.
Are you getting mixed up with Odsall?
No, I remember that. I've scrapbooks when I was a kid and I have the clippings of the match reports. We played Brighton at home that year I and I think we got relegated. I also remember playing WBA in a cup with a few replays. Maybe I'm getting the years mixed up.:emoticon-0111-blush

That West Brom game all but sent us down, I remember West Brom had to go to Stoke after but can't remember what the outcome had to be for us to stay up but it was a slim chance, and of course it went against us. There were rumours loads of Leeds were going to turn up at Stoke but not sure if they did, probably just Chinese whispers

So even in those days we had Asian fans  I wasn't at the Brighton game, but I'm sure their player Michael Robinson scored and did the the going down sign. Its funny the things you remember,:)

It is , then at other times can't remember what happened yesterday.

The missus says you talk freely to your mates about the night at Rochdale, the game at Bristol, the weekend in Plymouth but you have to stop and think when someone asks you what year the kids were born. :)
