actually there you go please log in to view this image we are 100mil down on bayern. thats a more logical target no?
lol posted at same time. I note bbc buried it off main sports page and 6th or 7th football story as UTd were no longer top. I think spurs fans could be happy their revenues shot up hugely in the year in question.
don't for get new shirt deal which ours is older than those above us. thats more than 50mil extra. we need ever more ways to scalp the plastics and out of towners coming for one game a year.
ahhhhh Spurs have capitalised on playing a full season at Wembley Stadium which has seen match-day revenue increase by 54% so thats why they don't want to move into their pokey 61k stadium. they are scalping the corporates at wembly getting in 80 odd k per game.
There was talk that Wembley were charging a much higher rent this season as they saw , against expectation , that Spurs were gettinng very high attendances & raking it in. They cannot use Wembley to full capacity all the time due to the licensing authorities agreeing to limit it due to pressure from locals. I'm fairly sure Spurs want to move into the moneypit asap
I still don't get how they are allowed to play there still. Surely they pay a large fee for doing so?
one would assume. I'm personally shocked they are allows to increase crowd over the 60k cap and get 80 or 90k in and this seems fine and no issue. Even them being allowed to go to 61k as cap was dodgy. In short I would say 100% of their revenue boost is already within those figures based on new stadium as even if they pay a large fee they are getting more than 61k in each week. In effect wembley has already been paying off their new stadium as having it gave them a 54% boost in match day returns. Other clubs such as ourselves have to redevelop the ground and take a hit on reduced capacity to do it. arsenal built theirs on their own back and I've no issues with them but since..... a) man city ... disgrace they got city of manchester stadium off commmonwealth games money for half nothing b) west ham absolute scandal whats gone on there. that is criminal in my view c) Spurs and wembley... only happening as spurs couldn't get the Olympic stadium... but still spurs are getting unfair hand form the FA to do what they are doing. Whats next? Cheslea? Dunno what they were planning on while they rebuilt the bridge. Arsenal, Utd for several years and US did it off our own backs. .. Newcastle did it too. Its deeply unfair others are getting artificial supports...
Spurs should be facing massive fines or jail time for selling season tickets for a stadium that hadn't passed safety tests. Instead they get those tickets honoured at Wembley. For some reason Spurs also get to use 90,000 seats in home CL games. Not much incentive to move while they're still in that competition. All games should have been capped at WHL's 36k since that's the last capacity they have obtained a safety certificate for. And even that is generous given that certificate is no longer valid.
Nah stadium is restricted in capacity I think isn’t it at Wembley? Only Cl games that’s it’s up near max capacity
here is a very convenient webpage https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/tottenham-hotspur/attendances a) it shows they are small time. b) LFC and utd come to town... 80k in wembley. c) man city come to town they get 56k.... d) games v **** teams the "loyal" spurs followers 41-45k v csouthampton it was 33k!!!! It seems to me that either wembley is terribly inconvenient for their "loyal" fans OR they will have a job filling their new toilet bowl stadium Not to worry though... theres plenty of "fans" found when the big teams turn up and borrow the tickets. Its no wonder they lost these games... they must have been more like away games for spurs players
Given the website i just posted shows that when barca came they got 82k in but when inter game they only got 57k.... I don't think we need worry too much about the thing. I don't mind them getting some increase WHILE THEY WERE PLANNED to be in wembley but it should only have covered the certified fee to rent wembley.

Does this mean that no one should really surprised that we are top of the league? We are one of top 3 richest clubs in the premiership and with more income than Chelsea, Arsenal or Spurs. And beating all the Italian clubs like Juventus, Milan clubs and German clubs except for Bayern
What it does not show is the debt each club has, therefore each club would have very differing disposable income to buy players without increasing the debt.
Nobody should be surprised if we were in 3rd place But Man City and Man Utd have spent hundreds of millions of pounds more on their squads We are much closer in squad cost to Everton than Man City Also we are only 4th in wage bill A little while back #bbcsalford tried to claim we were buying the league but even they couldn't keep that lie going for more than a couple of articles
