I would have thought that Germany would be a more obvious destination though. Still can't really see what Bordeaux can offer that we can't though. Apart from PSG the standard can't be much above the Championship and we'd arguably be there next season.

But currently he's the man of the moment at a club on the rise and is quite likely to be playing at a level comparable to Bordeaux's next season anyway. By staying he'd have a full season under his belt as his clubs first choice and stands a good chance of winning some medals. He's unlikely to get either of those at Bordeaux. A move to Germany to play as first choice at higher level would make sense but Bordeaux doesn't strike me as an obvious career move for him at this stage.

ever since i first released this story, people first said crap and paper talk, then he will sign, the writing was on the wall from day one . Well at least if this is fact then we know where we stand and move on. I wish him well but think he's a foolish young lad whose been badly advised.
