Watford’s Vicarage Road is a place of warmth on facebook TIFO WORDS BY SEB STAFFORD-BLOOR This is well worth a read
https://www.watfordfc.com/teams/first-team/match-report-watford-0-0-burnley Having seen the highlights it was not as bad as it was written. Their keeper did well to keep out GD, TD and TC. Their goal should have stood mind.
MOTD made it look like quite a decent game... Showed more chances than usual... Burnley fans say it was their best away performance of the season which maybe shows how poorly they had been doing beforehand. Certainly got on top of us physically and with power. Sometimes broke the game down a lot too..I suppose we all do that if drawing or in front away form home. And Dyche wasn't afraid to have his say to the 4th official and assistant ref!
I was at that game and was really impressed by how Burnley fans totally respected the minute silence. Never heard the Vic so quiet. It was eerie. Broke me out of my dislike for them!
Prehaps! GD has been wearing "tights" - might explain his misses one on one! Pereyra certainly hasn't really got into the game - maybe one eye on a move away? Mind you Capoue did ok and he usually is one who does disappear when it gets cold. Even when Deeney isn't get much change in terms of winning headers you know its not our day. Just thankful the assistant was having a poor day too!
Why do we even let ourselves get in those sort of positions where the last kick of the game can be a winner? It couldn’t have been any tighter but was onside.
It may be referred to elsewhere, but did you see Dyche's reported comments about us going away from being a community club? The Pozzos have repaired most, if not all, of the damage done by the owner he was employed by. Sent from my HTC U Play using Tapatalk
