It was announced 2 weeks ago Norwich had a record amount of visitors in 2018. Having been there in September and seeing coaches queueing up to drop visitors (something I haven't noticed in Hull) of all nationalities near the castle and similar scenes at the cathedral it is not a surprise. Not one but two cathedrals and a castle, which other cities don't have, better shopping (according to my better half) and one of the highest numbers of bars and pubs per head of population means it is an attractive destination for visitors.
"People in Hull love their sport. Not only do they love their rugby, they also love their darts and wrestling..." Man of the people Terry Geraghty.
Don't know how these things work in Hull but elsewhere people getting off buses are arriving not leaving.
