Tom eaves Gillingham 15 league goals, Kiefer moore Barnsley also 15 league goals and a creative midfielder, I would get all 3 if Maja leaves. By the way I am not knocking Wyke or Watmore but Watmore and Eaves working together would be good.
Be patient mate...both lads mentioned are still trying to get back up to speed after injuries. At least there not looking to move on like some in our squad. We do need extra fire power as JR has already mentioned. I think going to a Premier Club and taking a loan at the moment is our best bet. Maybe that Rossi lad who is training with Man Utd....Tel could give us an input on that one.
Anybody know who coined the phrase "couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo"? And what weird f*cker thinks of a sentence like this?
I first heard it on a golf course years ago. The starter was a retired miner , and proper comedian , he used to say it to posh prats who had all the gear but no idea. They lapped up the abuse.
Eaves is actually a great shout, scores for fun and he’s a ****ing unit, 6ft 5. What you done with Monty?
Ingredients 2 tbsp olive oil, plus a little for the dish 750g lean beef mince 90g pack prosciutto half quantity or 800g passata 200ml hot beef stock a little grated nutmeg 300g pack fresh lasagne sheets half quantity of our white sauce, or 520g ready-made sauce 125g ball mozzarella, torn into thin strips Method To make the meat sauce, heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a frying pan and cook 750g lean beef mince in two batches for about 10 mins until browned all over. Finely chop 4 slices of prosciutto from a 90g pack, then stir through the meat mixture. Pour over 800g passata or half our basic tomato sauce recipe and 200ml hot beef stock. Add a little grated nutmeg, then season. Bring up to the boil, then simmer for 30 mins until the sauce looks rich. Heat oven to 180C/fan/160C/gas 4 and lightly oil an ovenproof dish (about 30 x 20cm). Spoon one third of the meat sauce into the dish, then cover with some fresh lasagne sheets from a 300g pack. Drizzle over roughly 130g ready-made or homemade white sauce. Repeat until you have 3 layers of pasta. Cover with the remaining 390g white sauce, making sure you can’t see any pasta poking through. Scatter 125g torn mozzarella over the top. Arrange the rest of the prosciutto on top. Bake for 45 mins until the top is bubbling and lightly browned.
I watched Wyke v Blackpool and he bossed that game. It’s the only game I can say that about sadly mind he gets a kicking every game and minimal protection Watmore looks too desperate to score. Match on Saturday he just needed a simple square pass and McGeady rolls it in easy. I guess his confidence is shot after almost 2 years injured. Would knock anyone in any level of the game.
You've got a lot to learn about injury and psychology. Took me nearly a year to get over the head **** that came with my cruciate injury and I was rusty as a gate for about 6 months and the knee has never been the same, this was after I commenced playing again. Went on to win most improved player of the season and nailed down a Number 9 role(a new position) Takes a long time to recover, sort your head out and adapt to your new weaknesses once you start playing again. You won't give the lads a couple of months. They've both had bad injuries. Reality here . . . . . . . . . . . . . You and your expectations here Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
He never got his head up for me before his injuries ,was a very weak part of his game, hopefully JR can improve him there.
Totally agree with the sentiment towards Monty but in fairness that was probably the best, actually interesting and on topic, thing I've ever seen him post.
*rubs eyes* That... that... is actually readable and makes sense. I mean clearly it's a pipe dream as you're never signing all of those but Eaves in particular is a good shout. For the record I get what Bri is saying about Wyke and I hope he improves but I just don't see him being good goalscorer for you this season and you need someone now. His profligacy has already cost you points, many more dropped and automatic is going to start drifting away.
We're actively seeking a goal scorer mate. Think Wyke was signed as a target man option to be fair and is much more in the centre forward mould than a striker mould and his average 14 goals a season at this level reflects that imo. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
Will Grigg is so overrated, I honestly don't want him here. @Brian Storm I lost my phone yesterday morning, mate. Hoping to have another one tomorrow, can you send me your number again, please.
Well aye mate. Are you keeping your same number so I text you it or do you want me to message it to you on here? Aye Grigg will only serve 4 months of use. The 1m being touted looks bloody expensive to me. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
It was always called hitting a cow's arse with a shovel around the Durham area when I grew up 60/70's
Should have the same number, message it on here so I can be sure. 1 million for Grigg? 4 goals and 1 assist in the championship. No thanks.
