One good indication why Hughes is not here anymore, Bednarek was mainly igmored by the last two managers and he has blossomed under a real manager who knows talent and can encourage that talent.
Picking up on my own comment. Not having a go at the lad as he is getting forward, but with wing backs being an essential part of how we are playing, he needs to be working their defence with his crossing and giving the strikers a chance. This is also why I think we will miss Targett’s left foot this half.
