Fish did it to David Bond and various fans. It's nowt new- it's what happens in real life if you continue to irritate business owners who don't depend on your custom.

People have been banned from this forum who have been deemed to be too 'irritating'.

As regards the ombudsman, no idea how long it will take to have the case judged/heard, or whether they will get the better of Rollit.

If it’s anything like the motor trade the ombudsman will make a charge to them of £550, whether they’re right or wrong, and if that’s the case then everyone who gets a ban should appeal to the ombudsman, just to wind the ****ers off the clock!

 

You can't be sued for your thoughts, so perhaps you could say you think that they sound like that.

Seems I should have read the thread to the end before putting pen to paper.

 

Action Group chairman Dave Dewberry was banned by the club in the late 70's. Unheard of at the time and it was a bit controversial because Dave was also a shareholder but they did it. Made the front page of the HDM at the time and featured on YTV and Look North.

 

And his daughter Michelle did OK too

 

I was stood with Dave in the Well at BP the night she was born. During the game the tannoy suddenly burst into life with ...'Will Mister Dave Dewberry please go to the maternity hospital, your wife is about to give birth...' Or words to that effect. Dave waited until the final whistle.

 

Ironically, they reflect large parts of the modern British population.

If they don't like something that somebody says or does, they seek them out and harangue them or ban them or silence them. I for one admire this effort to integrate into British society. God bless our Arab friends.
