I think his versatility will be a key factor. Klopp loves players who can cover a few roles. I haven’t seen too much of him but he’s highly rated.
He does. We've got the best GK in the league, the best LB in the league, the best CB in the league, and then everyone else can play multiple positions.
Have you told bbc salford we have best gk and cb in league, as they are probably still hoping it's de gea and smalling
Chelsea getting Higuain then @BobbyD Intrigued by the move tbh, shame he didn't come to the league in his prime, but I am sure he will still offer something. However Chelsea have a history with somewhat top top strikers turning sh!t: Crespo, Shevchenko, Mutu, Kezman, Torres, Falcao, Pato. Quite a list of top top strikers, although Higuain is a bit past it maybe? I am sure he will do a job
it'll be interesting. if he's isolated he will struggle. he just hasn't the pace. need to get hazard and pedro close to hin
tbh i've always thought he was a bit overrated even when he was banging them in. He seems to have a pretty poor mentality when it comes to the big games and is generally for me a flat track bully, plus he's 31 and getting on a bit. to be fair, as a loan deal it's not bad apparantly 6 months with ability to 18 months + option to buy (why all these i dont know) so it's not the end of the world. Plus, he's a bigger than morata if slower and can finish when it's not a big occasion so at least we see an improvement there. To be honest i'm quite happy for Hazard to play a false 9 as i don't think he defends enough or provides any width (as he's wondering around receiving the ball) rather than a winger. Ideally though Sarri goes 4-2-3-1 so we have a big man up top to put crosses into as hazard in a false 9 means we just take loads of shots and barely ever cross. Overall happy with the signing in the sense it means morata can fek off
Reds face competition for Nabil Fekir Liverpool are facing competition from Premier League rivals Tottenham in the race to sign Nabil Fekir this January. The Reds were set to sign the France international in the summer before the deal broke down at the eleventh hour following his medical. Despite this sudden collapse, Liverpool have remained linked to the midfielder this January amid claims Jurgen Klopp could go back in for the Frenchman. But according to Italian outlet CalcioMercato, The Reds will have to act quickly. The publication claims that Tottenham have also become interested in Fekir in recent weeks and are looking to beat Liverpool to his signature. Source: Daily Mirror
