WEll, I have just called in for my Evening Sentinel. It seem's that Ric's Uncle has passed away, only in his early forties!

First off, sincere condolencies from me Ric, but I would like to know ask one question because I'm slightly confused.

Only a couple of weeks ago, we heard the same story from Tony Pulis, a death in Ric's family, we gave him compassionate leave etc.

TONY, can you please do US all a favour and tell us exactly WHAT is going on please because, from reports last time this happened. A few suggested this was a "Smoke Screen" re the connection with Sunderland did/did not bid for Ric during the Jan widnow?

Seem's that Ric won't be home until next Tuesday.

Reminds of that song. " Just when I needed you most" We MIGHT have this weekend so fellow Stoke fans.

Who apart from Jones and Carew will be upfront on Saturday, if needed? Please, don't mention on certainty who it seem's is favoured by T.P

Oppinions fellow Stokies, thoughts on this latest news?

I had thought that we stood a good chance of sneaking a 2-1 victory due to Ric coming of the bench for the last twenty minutes or so and causing their back four problems.
I just can't see Jones and Carew forming an attacking partnership, i hope i have to eat humble pie on this but the other option is to use Walters, errr no, so that leaves Ma, Ma, Ma, no sorry i can't even bring myself to say it.

This is certainly very odd. Whatever's going on, we can be sure that we won't hear it from Pulis, we all know how guarded he is with the press.

    More compassionate leave i'm guessing.
Basically, Fuller is cuasing problems within the squad and no player is bigger than the manager or the club.

    That's how i'm reading it.
    OR..........
He could be in Jamaica at his uncle's funeral.

If it was a 'smoke-screen' its extremely insensitive, and I doubt Ricardo would have agreed to go along with it.. they could have come up with something else, instead of faking a death, surely!?! <yikes>

Sending my thoughts to Fuller and his friends and family.

That is what I was thinking STA, I think Fuller's time is up.
The amount of stuff he gets away with is crazy.

The Brum press were saying we were trying to offload him in a deal for Jerome. I think they said we initially offered £1m plus Fuller and then £4m up front without Fuller.

I ONLY posted this thread NOT because I don't believe Tony Pulis this time. It's just that exactly the same thing happened a couple of weeks ago. I sure that Tony would not lie about something like this! It's just so strange to come out with the same or very similar problem for Ric?

Also,I wasn't trying to stir anything, no way. I was just shocked to see why Fuller will NOT be available on Saturday.

So, it looks like Big Mama will get his chance then! Anyway, let's get behind the team and for a change let's pump up the volume on Saturday.
