Was any real effort put into this? Sad when you're reminiscing about the "good old days" and Chippy's MD threads.
S*miles better than mine - I cant read but I like the pictures! Rondon - I imagine this is how he looks just wondering around his house in the evening - LOVE that big ole smile. Perez - Someone has obviously just complimented his hair. please log in to view this image Ritchie - So forced its unreal I don't think he has ever genuinely smiled in his life. please log in to view this image Lacselles - looks like a kid in a sweet shop - "you mean I get a pay rise, signing bonus and you'll sell me 6 months for big money" please log in to view this image
A rather quaint match day thread if I pray be so bold. However it's nothing more or nothing less than it purports to be.
There will be a proper meltdown if we lose this game, and unfortunately I can see it happening. This is now our level, where once I would have said Cardiff at home was a nailed on 3 pointer, literally any result is as possible as the other permutations. The daft thing is it doesn't matter because we will go down in the next season or the season after, so really avoiding the drop this year is just postponing it. It would be nice for Rafa not to have another relegation on his record like.
Love the pictures but can you make the words (font) bigger next time please like the Peter and Jane books? I have a sneaking feeling Rafa is gonna send the boys out to go for it after last night so I’m gonna go for 3-1 to the toon. That’s me ****ing jinxed us and we’ll get arse raped with Ashley watching on from the stands with a grin on his fat face.
We need to figure out how to win games at home quickly if we want to stay up and this would be a very good one to start with. In their current position they will come to defend and then hope to steal 3pts. We should aim to come out with all guns blazing and score an early goal to destroy that game plan. Only problems I see with that game plan is Rafa’s inherent cautious approach in first half and the fact that we don’t actually have any guns!
If we keep Rafa as manager, I want a petition started to reduce all matches to one half of 45 minutes. I'd love to know how we compare to other teams in getting to half time 0-0, or certainly without scoring.
