I'm 10 days old. I started a new life on January 4 when I gratefully came out of hospital. Before that I was 63. I first watched City in 1962. The Waggy/Chilton period was great but we never quite achieved what we should. Wembley 2008 was one of the best days of my life. Totally memorable and unexpected because I truly believed we would never get to Wembley in my lifetime. I am hoping to be well enough to go the Play Off Final in May. Mad that we should even be considering it but so was 2008. Come on, dare to dream while we still can.
I'm 44, but I go with you are as young as the women you feel (hence the reason I married a lady 16 years my junior ;-) )
31. Bumped into an old careers adviser, you know it's bad when they're shocked you're still going. She didn't say it, but you know, it's the tone of the voice. Fair enough.
Have a great birthday celebration John and I wish you loads more. A respectable lady should never openly disclose her age but currently I am on Trombones Road reaching Sunset Strip this Hiroshima Day!
The recent past. Premier League and 4 trips to Wembley. Never thought it would happen. Mid ‘60’s were great of course with excitement of the Waggy, Houghton and Butler signings and the new floodlights. The Terry Neill times certainly had their moments as well (Sheff U 1 Hull City AFC 2).
It was certainly pretty tedious taking user ages from the thread and compiling a list but I remember PLT was a great help . It finished with 177 members aged from 81 to 11. The list was last updated in April 2013 and in those days Quill was 'Macca's Right Foot' , PLT 'I saw the Premier League Tigers' and Craigo 'Craig in Nottingham'. Actual birth-dates were generally only supplied by the top 10 in the list enabling birthday greetings to be shown on the forum similar to the one for CT.
