9-0 easy Quarter-Final ties are no longer regionalised and will take place week commencing 21 January 2019. Confirmed Quarter-Final fixtures are as follows: Portsmouth v Peterborough United Bristol Rovers v Port Vale Sunderland v Manchester City U21 Bury v Oxford United The final of the Checkatrade Trophy will take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 31 March.
Good week to play it, just after Scunnie Away and the postponed Home game against Gillingham. playing kids again could be in our favour.
Easiest draw we could have got and at home, great and Portsmouth drawing Peterborough one of them have to go. And talking about the postponed Gills game could we have brought the Blackpool game forward to the 26th ? there would be a few thousand more supporters going.
Should be the easiest of the lot on a physical level. There's a reason the u21s have struggled since their inclusion to this comp. Cause it's kids being bullied by grown men. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
Man City will have some cracking under 21 players, and I honestly believe we have the hardest draw in the competition..
The prize is a trip to Wembley, but that's just the cherry on top. The meat and potatoes is still promotion, win or lose...
Imagine Sunderland v Pompey at Wembley, crowd would be insane for this tournament. I don’t give a **** about the mocking that would come from up the road, winning a trophy at Wembley of any nature would be fantastic.
No, and they didn't know at the Ticket Office when I was there this morning, either. They're 'cutting it fine' aren't they
All the quarter final games are listed for that date on the BBC website, can't find any mention of it on the clubs website....strange.
Maybe tv coverage is being sorted out and club don't want to announce it until date is solid. Just a wild guess, know nothing about the workings of any of this!
