Nar not as cut and dry as that, they could be a vastly better player but if they do not fit the squad dynamic, fit in, have the same work ethic etc then they would do more harm then good. We are where we are because of all the above and not just because we have better players then those below us. Did Leicester win the league because they had the best players or did they win the league because they had everyone fighting for each other, no stand out egos, a manager getting the best from his players, a huge unbreakable team sport and desire? A more talented player that breaks all the above would be worse for us this window then a player to add depth to the squad who fits in with all the above
I actually started to write at the end take the example of turbo since sept Vs the turbo we have seen before
It looked like he was trying to wind Wednesday player by implying he he had a big proboscis , which was true as his his snout was massive ( no pun intended ). Their player didn't like it and there was plenty of off the ball pushing and shoving which the officials failed to see , just like our first half penalty that they failed to give .
good, sky are also saying that Rangers and WBA are after the lad from Liverpool (Woodburn) who we are supposed to be looking at.
David Burns @bbcburnsy Matthew Connolly from Cardiff has passed his medical @HullCity . Deal all agreed until end of season expected to be completed Tuesday lunchtime.
Not sure if anyones posted this so i'll stick it in here just in case https://www.skysports.com/football/...erest-his-non-league-route-and-hull-city-form
BBC Humberside Sport @HumbersideSport Breaking: We understand Matthew Connolly won’t be joining Hull City at this time. Talks ongoing between the club and Cardiff. But he won’t be signing today.
He's done it again hasn't he, tried the "lets move the goalpost trick at the last minute" once again.
You don't know that. The name of the player was supposed to be kept under wraps until he signed but someone blew the cover again and now everyman and his dog knows who we were after and that this player is available. I'd guess Cardiff have received another offer for him.
When interest in a centre back with Premier League and championship experience was first mentioned last week, no name was given for a reason. We were told he would be signing and announced 'on Monday' If the club wanted everyone to know who we were signing I'm guessing they would have made it public when the initial interest was admitted. Someone blurted it out and suddenly and not surprisingly the deal hits a snag. Then again we have history with Neil Warnock when it comes to signing players. He is not a man of his word.
Don’t be stupid it’s the Allams. You offer enough, you get the player it’s simple. I’d love to know how many deals have fallen through with these idiots in charge. We know about 4 already this window!
