Most of the shots were straight at him but to be fair, he seems to be the only keeper to realise if a shot is hit at your feet, it’s a lot easier to kick it away than try dive down and save with your hands. Been poor this season but played well today. Funny that media going on about united winning this game etc, but he made 11 saves in that second half. Replay that half again with the same chances and spurs probably score 3 or 4 of them.
Pochettino just said that was Spurs' best performance under him a.k.a. "get me out of here I've done all I can"
For a keeper to standout, the opposition strikers have to give him a chance of saving the shots. Remember under Kenny we seemed to come against in form keepers every week? I remember repeatedly saying it was too coincidental to be great Keita each week and was much more realistic that our strikers were poor; they kept giving the keepers a chance to look good.
Logged on to Facebook and the first two feeds I see... (first was shared by a Man Utd supporting mate)
Of course not, he's a #legit #worldclass manager, now sign him up before someone else comes in for him
POCH ON KANE INJURY Worrying times for Mauricio Pochettino and Tottenham... "My worry is that it was a bad tackle in the last moment. It wasn't the intention of the United player but it was a bad tackle and now he has bit of a swelling on his ankle and he was limping after the game. We need to asses it in the next few days but we hope it’s not a big issue. "It’s a worrying thing. We are going to lose Son for the Asia Cup and if Harry Kane suffers an injury, it is going to be a massive problem for us."
Seriously though when the physio walked away from him and let's him walk off there's not likely to be much in it
