Strange one that. The fans seemed to want him to stay for rare stability, and saw him as someone who would need time. Makes you think he wasn't going to be backed enough this window to change their hit and miss form around? Or they told him they weren't happy with the form and he just decided to leave. To leave without the compensation of being sacked is unusual.
Nothing will be done. Never is for those kind of Clubs. It's lucky that it has become apparent against a Club like Derby, and a football icon like Lampard. More chance of being looked at and not just ignored. If it came out against us, or a team like Rotherham or something. It would just disappear after a couple of days.
I'd love to see them hit with some sort of penalty, but we both know that that is very unlikely to happen. Instead, they'll just get a 'slapped wrist' and told not to get caught in future!!!
I’m guessing there is nothing in the laws about this kind of thing then? I think it should be a points deduction but I can’t see it happening. Especially when you consider this isn’t a one time thing, he’s admitted doing it on more than one occasion through the season.
What's to be done ? I don't see the problem, no laws were broken. What's the difference between observing a training session or watching them play another team or on TV for that matter ? If Frank Lampards Derby don't like it then they should train behind closed doors.
Not it's not like watching another game at all. They train tactics, formations, player selection and plans to play each very different team. They don't just practice kicking a ball forward, then just turn up and do the same thing every single game, no matter the opponent.
Is there a week Arsenal aren't on telly at least twice?! So sick of them being on every time there is live football. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer. Money comes to money. Etc Etc. Their games are so poor. But they are always on.
Thats not how the bbc report it although a police officer is quoted as referring to false reports in the media. Anyway police have no powers to remove people from private property unless they arrest them, something they say didnt happen. But I guess why let the truth get in the way of a good story.
