He was an absolute irritant up front. They didn’t know what to do with him. Every time they challenged him, he went down and won a foul (even when some probably weren’t fouls). He linked midfield and the forward players well and ran around more than he ever has. You can see he’s more confident.
While we were excellent yesterday. How **** are wensdee?? Awful team. Poor George Boyd is a shadow of the player I remember. Even bannon who is a tidy little player was ****. I watched derby v Leeds on Friday and there was absolutely nothing to fear there either. I dont see anything to fear in this division. I'm not saying we will go up but there is nothing to stop us doing so.
Thanks to everybody for their good wishes, feeling very tired this morning. 2 other city supporters in there with me, one was an Allam apologist, promised myself not to argue with him, I failed.
Haha, Milinkovic was very funny, like a Duracell bunny, wound up and let go! I also liked Nige showing his humble innocence when the Adkins chant give us a wave was going on. He was involved in the game and waving his arms about and didn't know whether to acknowledge the chant, then quickly stuck his arm up. Given his emphasis on the team ethic, and not individuals I thought his reluctance endearing.
With Brum away at Norwich & Forest playing Bristol next weekend a win for us would certainly make it momentous & keep us on Derby’s heels.
The PL has been lacking Yorkshire sides for years. This year could see Leeds, Sheffield United, Middlesbrough(?) or us go up. Huddersfield look as though theyve already gone but wouldn’t be a bad thing with 3 sides back in there. Gary Neville said not long ago that he feared the PL was becoming a southern division with lots of northern sides no longer in there like Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Bolton, Blackburn, the Yorkshire sides, etc.
I don't like other Yorkshire clubs being in it as I want us to be the undisputed force in the region. I could possibly tolerate another side being in it, providing we were also in it and they were very much the junior.
Wednesday where without doubt the worse team I have seen at the KCom. I thought Bolton where bad on New Years Day but at least they made a fight of it in the first half before crumbling in the second. I don't remember this lot actually having a shot on goal. Feel sorry for Bruce having to lick that bunch of misfiring apology of a football team into shape. Probably give him another heartattack
I have no sympathy for Brucie at all.... he should have walked away for a while after leaving Villa who I could understand him going to. Especially when he's come out and said that he cannot forget the support the Massive fans gave at the play off final which was part of the reason he took the job...
