Every first home game of the new year the names of all city fans that passed away in the previous year go up on the big screen whilst the players gather in the centre circle and there is a minutes applause before the kick off.
One of them still has a sense of humour. " It could be worse Weeds and Blunts could be top 2 and pushing for automatic promotion.......................... oh ffs!!"

Today was superb....on the pitch,City were peerless,and utterly took the piss out of Wednesday in that second half (Stewart and Kingsley doing skills at 3-0 up).It should have been a lot more,and the fact that Marshall hasn’t had a save to make in 180 minutes of football is an incredible stat and testament to the defending of the team in front of him.Stewart was terrific in midfield and personifies the club’s resurgence since the Autumn. Off the pitch,it was fun and frolics in E4 adjacent to the away fans as the Wendy banter boys began to really lose their **** as the goals went in,a couple of them tried to break the cordon and the police had to step in to stop things boiling over.The middle-aged wind-up merchants in front of me a few rows down had a whale of a time dealing with that lot,in fact I saw very little of the last twenty minutes of the game due to the entertainment a few feet from me.... A very good day all told.CITY!
After being in the doldrums for so many games I am so enjoying the way City are playing at the moment and the atmosphere at the KC. Players have really got themseles into a tight knit group and look like they are enjoying themselves. God knows what Adkins has done but his positivity has paid off at long last. Long way to go yet, don't want to think of play offs because after twice getting promoted that way can our luck hold out again. If it were possible it would be great to get automatic but we'll just have to enjoy this as long as it lasts.
Just can’t stop looking at the league table, it’s truly incredible where we’ve come from since November, totally outstanding. Plus conceded .5 goals per game over the last six, and scored an average of 2.5 a game. Wish I’d had a punt on us a few weeks back.
They did. Would have been even better if they’d used a bigger font so we could actually read the names, but that’s an ongoing problem since the redesign of the screen design. Struggle to even read the team names an yes I have had my eyes tested recently...
