Blown away by game today, fantastic game and atmosphere. Some classy football, playing out from the back, like watching Man City, (ok, I've had a few shandys.). To be fair, how ****e were SW, offered nothing, they were lucky to be only 1 down at h/time. Brucey's got his work cut out there unless he has money to throw at it. Ref equally ****, first half left his cards in dressing room, Bannan and co. fouling at ease, the only good thing ref did was 2 mins extra time for time wasting and we score. Credit where due, Stewart was outstanding, unrecognisable from earlier in season. Grosicki's energy outstanding, he seemed desperate to get on score sheet. A quiet afternoon for Marshall! Not forgetting the memorials, great salute and result for them.
It was being chanted most of the game. It’s about time he had a chant. In fact, a lot of our players need chants - it’s probably the fact they’re not here very long on contracts rather than fans not making them up quick enough. Noticed chants for Kamil, Campbell, Bowen and Marshall today. What about the rest?
Did you see that kid in the N stand front row first half keep the ball bouncing it on the wall and taunting their already time-wasting keeper who was in no rush to get it back anyway? Did that kid help earn the first goal?
He passed plenty of times today. His first chance of the game he threaded it through for Henriksen instead. Think he did everything but score today.
