I heard that too, and at least Brazil was challenged, but referring back to the mental health thread just the fact that Brazil said it like he did will not help anyone listening that is already struggling.

Blubs when he loses, blubs when he wiins and now blubs when he retires. Tbh, it was always on the cards given his major hip problems, and he must have suspected every day for the last 18 months ago it would end like this. And it has. He's constructed his body from being a scrawny kid to being a medium unit, and maybe that's been his downfall - his natural lightweight frame has been put under too much strain since he bulked up. I see a future captaincy beckoning for him on A Question Of Sport. Yes, he's that good.

I've never got why people got so upset about the whole 'anyone but England' thing. He's Scottish ffs. Of course he wouldn't want us to win. If anything, it would be weird if he did want England to win. I mean, how many English people want to see Scotland win?
You could have agreed he was the best or said nothing instead of going off at a tangent. You are one who gets upset if someone deviates slightly from the original point
That must work both ways. Hence me thinking he’s a boring **** who I’ve always wanted to lose. All the talk of him being the best British sportsman of his generation & in some cases the “Best British Sportsman ever” is poppycock.
That's fair, his personality has never been that amazing. I think he is one of the best sportsmen of his generation, but no chance he is the outright best. That's still (imo) Bradley Wiggins.
