Kimpioka should now be ahead of Sinclair.
Watmore had an issue with his groin according to JR.

SD said on the podcast that any damage costs would be deducted from the Mags' share of the gate receipts. So the stupid bastards are taking money from their own club.

That article says it was our first team...

    Ruiter.., second choice
O’nien ... midfielder filling in at rb
Ozturk... 3rd or 4th choice cb
McGeouch... behind Catts, Power and O’nien in that role
Watmore... started one first team league game in 2 years
Sinclair... Don’t even get me started
Mumba... probably younger than any of the mag players

Other than that.... yeah a full first team!

It was the first team squad, with a few nippers and fringe players thrown in getting useful experience.

We’re in league one, so no shame in that.

Agreed. Just mean that majority of our starters tonight weren’t first teamers. Squad fillers yes but no more

Other thing is that the youngest player on show was Bali Mumba! And he looked far better equipped to play the game than their cms did

We are the best supported team by a mile outside the premier league pompey and yes we will have 60,000 at Wembley mate if we get there like at old Trafford in 2004. Portsmouth and Sunderland back in the championship next season where we belong.

It wasn't close to our first team was it? Flannigan and ONien aside it was kids, rust and out of form

Mind, you've changed your opinion on Sinclair the non-scoring striker . You slated me for pointing it out when he was brought in. <whistle>

My opinion on Sinclair (now) is not based on goals in any way shape or form - simply on contribution to the games he's involved in - and I only know that with hindsight
Certainly don't remember "slating" you - I may have had a go if you were reacting negatively before a ball had been kicked (and I will stand by that - I only know he's rubbish (as I said) with hindsight - and you probably knew nothing about him as a player too before he played but decided to have a go anyway

Remind what my opinion was of him before I'd seen him play? I doubt it was anything other than optimism - yourself - you'll call yourself a realist as negative people always do

I didn't want to 'have a go' at players after a decent win last night but now that Marcus has highlighted a glaring problem I will.
I've mentioned on previous threads if we can send Sinclair back this month, and now have seen that Jack is happy to keep him till the end of the season.
What does this lad being to the team...
Goals..No not really, the one against Peterborough is hardly an outstanding return.
Effort...On last night's showing it's a no again, he just doesn't put himself about enough, he hit the post when he should have scored and he doesn't hold the ball up.
I know he's been injured but so have many others and they seem up for it when they return. Sinclair doesn't give off that vibe at all.
I don't like criticising young players but this lad reminds me of Fletcher last season, just not good enough.
Thankfully Jack isn't giving him game time to the detriment of others, but young Kimpi has to be ahead of him in my book.
I'd love him to prove me wrong, but I just can't see it in him unfortunately.
