No holds barred Morata is effing useless, Oh wait I scored from 3 yards and scored a headed goal, I did miss a sitter from 2 yards but it doesn't matter coz I wuz offside anyway. No Alvaro you are a poor excuse for a footballer, how on earth you persuaded Real Madrid to give you a contract in the first place is beyond me, and then get a loan at a top Italian side well this is Derren Brown territory. Then along come CFC looking for someone to replace Costa and come up with basically Diego Costa's big toenail, sorry Diego I have insulted your toenail. Holy mother there are players in the Championship and even lower down that are far better at football than you Alvaro you are the biggest sham since Frank Sinatra went into acting. Where is a Kerry Dixon when you need one?

He is ****ing awful though. We paid 60 odd million for this ****!!
Absolutely ****ing useless. No movement, no composure, no skill on the ball.
At least Fernando Torres tried! And he made himself useful in other ways with his pace and movement.
Morata is a £60m ****ing lamppost. We need to get rid asap while some of the footballing world, hopefully, is still under the impression that this twat can play football!

I was at the game Saturday and we saw the good and the bad of Morata. He look his goals well and the movement for the 1st was exactly what you need from a striker. His movement inside the box and heading ability is generally very good so you have to think he'd do much better if we actually gave him service to suit his style more.

Was it a coincidence he scored 2 goals in the half where we had a right footer on the right wing actually putting in decent crosses?

If we're not going to play to his strengths then of course there is little point him staying but I don't believe he's as bad as people are making out. But maybe too easily loses confidence and doesn't contribute enough to open play with his lack of physicality.

The miss was bad of course but I seen Ronaldo miss one as bad as that. It happens to all forwards sometimes. I'm more concerned when he fluffs the ones where he has time to think.

I still think he could come good with the right service, lack of confidence at the moment is an issue with him.

Agree, with Hazard & Willian in the team the ball is too often played sideways or backwards and sideways and seldom do our wingers seldom get behind the opposing teams back four a make them defend facing their own goal(which defenders hate) Hudson Odoi did it a few times and well bless my soul, guess what happened!

Hudson Odoi to bang in the crosses to Morata tomorrow to smash the Spuds. Not many more decent attacking options available due to all the injuries.

Some of you lot trying to make excuses for him is frankly concerning, what the hell do you see in him. Yes Ronaldo has missed sitters but also scored world class goals and assisted in many more. Right wing crosses? wtf is that about how can you play a striker that only scores from right wing crosses and from 2 yards? have you been on the ganga? Just dump him now get whatever we can and cut the losses his fookin wages are staggering for a bloke that should be playing for (I was gonna say Spurs) Whitehall Womens Welfare FC. As you can see I am firmly planted on the fence of indecision. Whether to offer him to Barnet or just let him go back to whatever hole he crawled from. Just Do It (insert tick here).

Gotta say I am with Abu on this one.
He should be replaced at the first given opportunity.
Cut our losses and accept the first offer we get for him (as long as it is reasonable). And buy someone who can actually play upfront for us

Sevilla apparently want a loan move with a view to signing him in the summer, I say go for it.
Recall Tammy and go the rest of the season with Giroud and Tammy, unless we can sign someone this month which is doubtful.

Can’t we just apologise to Diego and get him back? I think he’d come. He’s got a hell of a chance of winning things with Chelsea.

The Conte thing was a red herring. Diego wanted to go back to Spain about a year after he joined us and then every window thereafter. No chance he's coming back.

Surprisingly enough he was a professional about it. He had a contract and was willing to see it through.
Didn’t do himself any favours though by going as public with it as he did.

Morata is far from our only problem
Jorghino is just not up to the speed and power of PL football, and is looking more lost every game. Barkley is simply a dead loss, Kante is being misused, Willian and Pedro are a year past it. Christensen looks pissed off like CHO, and despite Sarri now trying to keep them by playing them, It's too little too late when teams like Bayern and Barca come in for them.
Our management have again made a bucket load of poor decisions and crazy buying and selling , with no long term plan visible, and no Emanelo replacement appointed to sort the mess out.

I certainly see your point and there are some questions to be asked/answered.

But of the 3 teams currently ahead of us in the table, 2 of not actually won anything yet under their current managers and the other one has spend an absolute fortune. We have at least been blessed with 2 league titles and 2 domestic cups in the last 4 years. We now just need to make sure the right decisions are made so we don't fall behind and become late Wenger era Arsenal.
