Ehab (perplexed): Are they? Er yeah (recomposes himself as he realises it's Hull City under discussion).....that was my idea. My very first stop would be Oakwood Dog Rescue on Sutton Fields, they’d never need another begging bowl. I’d then drop in to see the other local rescue centres to put a huge smile on their faces, then onto family and friends...

That’d be the exact order mate, I’ve never had a dog that’s answered me back or not being (sic) pleased to greet me, kids on the other hand...

 

Dogs are more faithful and forgiving than families.

 

More useful then most family members as well

Don't worry about it. I used to have trouble spelling executiv, now I are won.

 

To cut a long story short, according to the HDM the owners are targeting promotion. So no new owners any time soon.

 

Don't think this necessarily follows. I am sure they are not opening the financial floodgates for a full tilt at promotion. Probably more saying to Adkins you can wheel and deal within the financial plan agreed at start of season and (possibly) saying you don't have to sell. I still wonder if they have a deal in place for sale of the club with the Duffen consortium which is being held up by the consortium wanting to acquire land. If they sold Bowen and Grosicki, I suspect the consortium might walk away saying this isn't what we were buying. Difficult to know but don't think its cut and dried that any sale is off.

 

There was never a sale on. Just a few people had a look and didn’t come back.

 

History has taught us we can't believe anything that comes out from the gruesome twosome. Personally, I would rather stay where we are and just get shot of them/jog on.

I have believed this for some time now. All smoke and mirrors and a big shovel full of camel **** thrown in for good measure.

 

Or, it’s transfer window time. Usual habit of pretending we’re doing something to stop people moaning...then don’t do anything at all and see if people notice?

 

It's crazy, but some people don't notice anything and just swallow this time and time again.

Let's get one thing thing straight. The club is for sale. The Allams aren't lying about that. I'ts just that it's for sale at five times it's actual worth.

 

Can't see our illustrious owners doing something similar somehow.

 

That’s just unfair
Discrimination against people who aren’t kids, who will surely expect to be charged the same as them (and the same as OAPs and people with disabilities come to think of it)
Presumably all those ‘non kids’ will be protesting at the game about this lack of fairness...

 

I think this proves Alan Hansen’s statement from quite a few years ago to be correct, “you can’t win anything with kids”...
Well what have Aston Villa actually won when implementing ridiculous strategies like letting your kids in for a quid.

I’m now beginning to see the superior logic driving our messiah like vice chairman.
