me neither. I can only think of one reason for klopp to do it this early in window: Clyne wants to go and will be cone this summer anyway. I would at least wait for gomez to be back fit. we are approx 2 weeks form when gomez will be back and 4 from matip. To let clyne go now represents to my mind taking a risk, if gomez breaks down on the 20th then we are left without right back cover AND left back cover. Does it say the pecking order is? TAA, gomez, milner, clyne. Robertson, moreno, Clyne
Milner Is already covering left back and every midfield position. We don't have enough Milner to go around.
the only thing I can say is that city still have to play Bournemouth once so clyne can play some small part in our season by helping in that game... doubtful it's make any difference mind.
nah, only a short little one. I think it's stupid myself.but maybe clyne just wants to go. imo players need to man up and agree that if they are out during year they don't **** off in January. same for.moreno. if klopp sat these guys down in say July and said you are recovering form injury here, you'll be at best a sub or whatever then ok... may be clyne said ok I want to go but can't go til fit and this was agreed back then
Well in theory Gomez will be the main back up, but that does mean Lovren at CB if TAA needs a rest. Milner just had couple weeks off with tight hamstring I believe. No biggie.
To be fair, Clyne hasn’t played in 2 years really so it’s not like we’re losing someone that we’ve had available. Would be like losing markovic
I get your point but he did do a good job v utd when called on. Its a case that if he could do that then he could do another job for us this season if needed We must be very confident in gomez being fit and must think he will continue to play RB sometimes. it just feels iffy right now.
He was good enough to beat Man Utd so we could have used him against other #midtable teams Anyway Klopp has more information to make the decision
Good on him and good luck to him, don't think he would ever make it here and he is going to a good club
So is the majority of the PL It's like people getting pissed that our backup CB Lovren isn't good enough against champions Man City so they want him shipped out That's 2 games a season FFS he's more than good enough for the other 50
Mike Edwards strikes again!! #LFC have agreed a deal worth £19m plus add-ons with Bournemouth for Dominic Solanke. Announcement of the move expected later today. @standardsport
how much you guys bribing bournemouth behind the scenes to buy your **** off you for exorbitant prices. Smith, Ibe and now Solanke (who they could have got for free) at these dumb prices.
Solanke has been to a CL final, is a full international, and is homegrown We should have held out for more
