Pretty sure it's been like that since last season, not certain as I don't post much on the Liverpool board but its been going a while now. #slowpoke
The trophies will come at Liverpool, just minus the Premier League and FA Cup, maybe they are thinking of entering some yet to be invented trophy.
To be fair, if we were in say the position of Spurs where they replicate Arsenal by qualifying but never competing or getting close to the champions league and league then I probably would want us to focus on the FA cup
Liverpool fans saying they thought last night’s game was tight Only thing tight in that game was VVD’s shorts the fat ****ing clown.
That's the problem, to clubs the CL and Prem revenue is more important than the pride of winning a cup. That applies to players as well in some sense, how many say when they've joined a good club it's because they won the League Cup or FA Cup? Never or rarely happens, yet they'll always mention about the prospect of playing in Europe. I think true fans do still cherish them. I'd ****ing love to win any cup; League Cup, FA Cup, **** it, somehow enter us into the JSP and I'd still celebrate (probably still wouldn't win ). I was at Wembley when we won the League Cup a decade ago, amazing day out and first time I'd watched us win something live. Can't beat that feeling.
Thats because players join clubs generally on how much they are going to get paid and generally who they see will be the most successful. Generally speaking the team who is most likely to win the league (not necessarily have won it etc) is also most like to win the cups
Today, mate. Should be a good game. I should've gone really, had enough points to get a ticket, just couldn't be arsed for a trek up there on a Friday night.
We didn't need any bait as the melting started when our lineup was announced but thanks anyway for keeping the convo going. PS you could have mentioned who you were yer tosser
