It’s not like we were doing Moses a favour paying him whilst injured. It’s a contractual obligation of the club to pay him.
No issue with your view on that, I can understand why someone might find it Odious. So the happiness of you and your family isn't more important than loyalty to you? It is to me, and that is what I said. At no point have I said I can't be happy without money, please point me to that. I will accept your apology for making this up if you ever apologies for being wrong. Nothing I have said has linked my sole reason for being happy to money. What I stated was I haven't been loyal in my work career because I don't have loyalty to employers who I have brought hundreds of millions of investments or loans in for, I have loyalty to do the best for my family to look after them and make sure my family are comfortable and looked after. I am unsure what my friends have to do with my financial circumstances there is no link at all. If I suddenly become **** at cricket that's more likely to have an impact! Also lets not go on about Moses anymore.... we have no idea the circumstances the club might have offered him £100 and he wouldn't have been able to pay his mortgage. No-one has a clue.
My issue with the Allams isn't them taking their money back, it's the fact with the correct investment they could have actually got promoted to the Premier League and made themselves far more money. 3 more signings and imagine where we could be right now! I also don't think a player grabbing all the money and the Allams slowly destroying our club and stop future generations supporting their club with their Draconian concessions policy is the same. Getting rid of concessions has actually lowered their income it's not even remotely similar. I won't stop an owner trying to make money, I will stand up to them when they take advantage of the defenceless (Pensioners and Children).
BBC Humberside Sport @HumbersideSport #HCAFC manager Nigel Adkins has confirmed his interest in Middlesbrough's Ashley Fletcher but a deal isn't close at this time.
Philip Buckingham @PJBuckingham Nigel Adkins confirms Will Keane is down in Suffolk, expects him to join Ipswich on loan today. #hcafc
Actually been quite an interesting discussion about Tymon and loyalty in football I think people do forget how young he was though , perhaps he didn't really know what to do and just took advice from people he trusted
Philip Buckingham @PJBuckingham Amazing how it's turned around for #hcafc. Adkins made it clear that he believes City "are in the race" for promotion now and you get the impression recruitment plans will reflect that. He's spent a lot of time with the owners in the last two days and the aim is to "kick on."
That’s tremendous news and suggests Ehab may finally be listening to sense. If he could just swallow his pride and sack off this crazy no-concessions plan too, then things could start to get back on an even keel. I’m assuming this confirms what we’ve kind of known for a while - that the Allams are not intending to accept any proposals to sell the club anytime soon.
Some city fans booed Ashbee , some booed those chanting on 19.04 ... I really wouldn't take what some City fans do at a ground as a moral compass
If you think Ehab is seeing sense your wrong. Don’t be dragged in once again. We’ve already missed out on two players cos we can’t pay the wages. Let’s see when the window is finished and see what we have and haven’t got. The only thing he sees is pound signs, and now he says potential play offs any potential sale that was or wasn’t happening is almost definitely off.
Hull City @HullCity Will Keane has joined @Official_ITFC on loan for the remainder of the season. All the best, Will! please log in to view this image
In a way, we need to sign 2-3 then have a poor Feb and lure them back into selling. Sale goes through and we kick in for a late play-offs surge. We can dream.
The post he put on the Facebook group after leaving kinda highlighted that when he tagged it with #oneofyourown. It came across in bad taste and angered the fans he was thanking and made him look a bit of a fool. It ended up being a naive post from somebody who was still young at that point and clearly taking advice from other people (whom maybe didn’t have his best interests at heart; only there’s). Edit - I agree though. Nice to have a discussion that hasn’t ended up with everybody calling everybody else ****s and getting the thread locked/posts deleted.
Does this guarantee Ipswich go down ? Who can we ship off to Bolton & Reading to ensure our survival ?
This upturn in form couldn’t have come at a better time assuming there is any money to spend (unlikely I know) but we do need to keep the momentum going beat millwall and keep picking up results as most transfers are at the end of the window.
Fraid I'll believe it when i see it .. Nige can spend as much time as he wants with these fkwits but they're too thick greedy and stubborn to part with anything around the amount needed to bring in quality.
